Reva Care Limited (“Reva Care/We/Us”)

Client (“You”)

By accepting these Terms & Conditions you agree to the terms of Reva Care Limited. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and us and govern your use of the Reva Care platform and services.

The platform connects Care Seekers with Self-Employed Carers for home care and personal care services.

Reva Care may revise these terms from time to time by updating this page. The latest version will always be binding on you.

Definitions

  • Client – A person or organisation using the platform to engage a Carer.
  • Care Seeker – The individual receiving care services.
  • Carer – A self-employed care assistant registered on the Reva platform.
  • Care Assistance – Self-managed care services provided to the Care Seeker.
  • Invoice – Payment request raised by the Carer through the platform.
  • Platform – The Reva Care website or mobile application.
  • Circumvention Fee – Fee payable if a client hires a carer outside the platform.

Service Model

Reva Care is an online introductory agency marketplace connecting clients with self-employed carers through its platform.

Reva Care does not employ carers and does not manage the delivery of care services. All carers operate as independent professionals.

  • Reva Care facilitates introductions between clients and carers.
  • The Carer decides whether to accept or reject an assignment.
  • Clients are responsible for selecting carers and defining care plans.

Types of Care

  • Live-in Care – Carer lives in the client’s home during the assignment.
  • Visiting Care – Carer visits the client’s home for scheduled hours.

Platform

Creating an account on the Reva Care platform is free. The platform provides a marketplace where clients can search for carers and carers can offer services.

Reva Care is not a party to the Care Assistance Services Agreement between the client and the carer.

Platform Disclaimer

The platform is provided on an “as-is” basis. Reva Care does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will always function without error.

Reva Care is not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising from services provided by carers.

Safeguarding

Reva Care is committed to safeguarding adults at risk. Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately.

Client Responsibilities

  • Verify the suitability and qualifications of carers.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow health and safety requirements.
  • Supervise carers when necessary.

Insurance

Carers are responsible for their own insurance. Reva Care does not provide insurance for care services.

Reva Care maintains a public liability policy covering accidental damage occurring during assignments, subject to policy terms.

Account Registration

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Only one account per person is permitted.

You must provide accurate information including personal details, payment information, and care requirements.

Payments

Clients agree to pay the total service fee for each booking.

  • Care Fee – Paid to the self-employed Carer.
  • Marketplace Fee – Paid to Reva Care for platform services.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

Cancellations & Refunds

Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel a shift. Otherwise the full hourly rate may be charged.

If the carer cancels the shift, the client will receive a full refund.

Termination

Reva Care may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or fail to make payments.

Clients may terminate their account by providing 30 days written notice to support@revacare.co.uk.

User Conduct

Users must not discriminate against others based on race, nationality, disability, religion, gender, or any protected characteristic.

Data Protection

Personal data is processed according to our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the platform and its content belong to Reva Care Limited.

Liability

Reva Care’s liability is limited to the value of commission received from the client through the platform during a period of one year.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
